On Tuesday, January 29 we honored 50 of the most distinguised public servents in New York at our third annual 50 Over Fifty awards ceremony. Those who received awards came from a wide range of professional backgrounds, from the government to media, and all of whom are, of course, over the age of 50.

The 50 individuals who received awards at the event held at Sony Hall, were profiled for a special edition of City & State magazine.

Our 2019 Lifetime Achievement Winners included: Joseph Crowley, Alfonse D’Amato, Dean Fuleihan, Mark Green, Lorraine Grillo, Carolyn Maloney, John Miller, Nydia Velázquez, Keith Wright and Michael Zetlin.

Take a look back at this celebration of 50 New Yorkers who have committed their lives to improving New York.
