On Tuesday, Aug. 14, City & State recognized 40 talented individuals under the age of 40 who work in New York State government, politics, and advocacy - the 2018 Albany 40 Under 40 - with a celebration gala at Battery Gardens overlooking the Statue of Liberty in lower Manhattan. Over the past decade, City & State has recognized 400 individuals under the age of 40, and among the speakers at this year's event were alumni Rep. Grace Meng, Dutchess County Executive and GOP gubernatorial candidate Marc Molinaro and Secretary to the Governor Melissa de Rosa.
